WFCC 2024 Abstract Submission

If you wish to participate in the Best Paper Award competition, please submit your full-length paper by May 31, 2024. For the full paper submitted to journals, this could be done after the conference and we'll surround further details

Theme 1: Fuel Cell

1) Types of fuel cell: PEMFC, DMFC, SOFC, PAFC, AFC

2) Materials and components: catalysts and their supports, GDLs, MPLs, MEAs, bipolar plates, membranes, ionomers

3) Modelling design, optimization: materials, cells, stacks, systems

Theme 2: Hydrogen

1) Hydrogen production: Electrolysis (PEMEC, SOEC), reforming, photolysis, anaerobic

2) Hydrogen storage: compressed gas, cryogenic liquid, metal hydride, chemicals, container

3) Hydrogen transport: trucking, pipeline, railway, ship

4) Hydrogen infrastructure: fuelling station, distribution centres

Theme 3: Inter-connection

1) Hydrogen economy: BEV vs. FCEV, Hybrids

2) On board hydrogen storage

3) Lifecycle analysis: round trip efficiency of hydrogen & electricity generation, environmental impact assessment

4) Renewable energy resource coupling: SOFC-SOEC, PEMFC-PEMEC
